Principal Tricia Quan set up Impact PR in 2000 to provide a responsive public relations service that also delivered exceptional value for money.
Unlike many of her peers she didn't take the plunge into establishing a business (as many do), in her early career, opting instead to accumulate experience, travel the world and increase her wisdom in business management, life and consumer behaviour.
Today Impact PR is a trusted founding member of BNI Downtown, a Brisbane CBD-based business referral chapter and a business others rely on to deliver results, leveraging years of professional practice and very diverse marketing communication experience.
 About Tricia
Tricia Quan is a Queenslander whose passion for writing and communicating better was ignited when she started entering and winning prizes for newspaper writing competitions at primary school. She learnt the fundamentals at QIT, studying journalism and PR and then spent years honing them.
Prior to setting up Impact PR, she had a long career working for public sector agencies in media and issues managment, corporate communication and PR sections and establishing fee for service consultancies. Tricia has chaired and run Brisbane's biggest one day family festival (the Colonial George Street Festival), contributed to British royal tours, provided media liaison on site during the 1990 State of Emergency and beyond for the Western Queensland floods and changed perceptions of the Redcliffe City Council for the better. She represented Queensland on a national committee driving communication of changes to the Australian Dangerous Goods Act to the road transport industry, and spearheaded a successful change management communication campaign to seamlessly transfer a major infrastructure asset for a government agency.
Tricia wrote and produced the Redcliffe City Council's 1994-95 annual report, enabling the Council to win the prestigious Coopers and Lybrand state award for excellence in annual reporting.
A certified results coach and NLP practitioner, Tricia is enrolled in Christopher Howard's Fast Track program and is a member of the Automatic Best Seller Elite Inner Circle. She is also trained in Ericksonian Hypnosis and Neurological RepatterningTM.
When not working in her business, Tricia's other passions are interpersonal and business skills development, financial education, mentoring others, winning board games, trivia, fine wine and food matching and walking a handsome greyhound called Dash.
